SYSTEM, WOUND CLEANSING CHG, IRRISEPT
IrriSept is an FDA-cleared Wound Debridement and Cleansing (Wound D&C) System containing a solution of 0.05% Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) in Water for Irrigation.
CHG in 0.05% concentration has been shown effective in laboratory testing against a broad spectrum of bacteria, and fungi, including MRSA.1,2 and acts as a preservative, helping to maintain the integrity of the solution. IrriSept® debrides and cleans wounds such as: surgical wounds, lacerations, SSTIs (including abscesses), deep traumatic wounds, Dehiscence, "road rash" abrasions, delayed closures, Pilonidal cysts, puncture wounds, and burns.

One 450mL compressible bottle delivers entire solution 0.05% CHG and water for irrigation, USP (99.95%) in less than 30 seconds, meeting ACEP guidelines of 7-8 psi per 100cc/centimeter of laceration. IrriRinse, 450mL compressible bottle with 0.9% Sodium Chloride, USP. No antimicrobial agent has been added.
Ph level, 5.5 (4.5 to 7.0). Osmolarity 308 mOsmol/L (calc.). Sterile. Non-Pyrogenic (fluid only). Isotonic solution for irrigation only. SplatterGuard reduces biohazard contamination that can contribute to Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs).
SplatterGuard available in Standard format for most surface wounds and Long Tipped format for abscesses and deeper wounds is placed directly over the wound, reducing splatter that may occur during the irrigation procedure, protecting healthcare professionals and reducing aerosolized contamination.
